Each fish typically weighs between 800 g and 1.2 kg, making it suitable for both household consumption and commercial kitchens. Fresh tilapia should be kept refrigerated at 0–4°C and consumed within 2–3 days of delivery. For longer storage, the fish can be frozen immediately after purchase.
